The Tourist Information Center is conveniently located south of Interstate 44 on U.S. 65 at the Battlefield Road exit. Brochures on area attractions, maps and other information are available, as well as a variety of local souvenirs and gifts.

 

A Visitors Information Center with maps and information about lodging, dining and attraction options is located at the Springfield-Branson National Airport.

 

The Convention & Visitors Bureau's office is downtown in the Jordan Valley Car Park at 815 E. St. Louis St., Springfield.  To reach the Springfield office, dial 1-800-678-8767.  The CVB also has a satellite office in Jefferson City.  To reach our sales manager at the Jefferson City office, dial 1-800-678-8766.

    

The Bureau's office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Tourist Information Center hours are extended during the peak tourist season and the center is open on weekends.

  • Air & Military Museum of the Ozarks

Enjoy the beauty of Crystal Cave as you walk through natural paths. Hand rails and stone steps guide you along to see the "Upside Down Well", "Rainbow Falls", "The Cathedral", and symbols that indicate Indian habitation.   • Dickerson Park Zoo

  • Doling Park & Center

  • Frisco Railroad Museum, Inc.

The Frisco Railroad Museum is located in a 1943 CTC building devoted exclusively to the preservation of the Frisco, has 2,500 items on display, diner/lounge car. Open year round Wednesday - Saturday 10am - 1pm and located at 543 E. Commercial Street.

  • Gray/Campbell Farmstead

This is the home of John Polk Campbell, nephew and namesake of the founder of Springfield, MO. The farmstead includes the 1856 house, detached log kitchen; log granary, two-crib barns and family cemetery. Costumed guides present the history of the farmstead as you tour.   • Historic Landers Theatre/Springfield Little Theatre

Known as the Springfield Little Theatre, this is Missouri's oldest and largest civic theatre - a National Historic Site. Six main-stage performances are offered each year. The theatre is open year round and is located at 311 E. Walnut Street.

  • History Museum For Springfield-Greene County

Located in Springfield's stately historic City Hall, the History Museum is dedicated to preserving the unique history of this region. The permanent exhibit traces local history from prehistoric times through the 1950's. Hands-on areas help younger visitors learn about the Native Americans, pioneers or soldiers who lived here.
